Gaza: Our current project
MIST returned to Gaza in January and June 2024 providing ongoing assistance and support with our partners.
Further humanitarian assistance is planned to provide a fully equipped Mobile Theatre and associated infrastructure to re-establish the Limb Reconstruction Unit in Gaza.

MIST delivers expertise in disaster management, clinical surgery and rehabilitation, education and training, clinical governance providing support for research and development and community wellness projects.
Disaster Management
Disasters lead to many victims with limb injuries needing specialist surgical techniques to prevent amputations.
In those who have had amputations, MIST performs stump optimisation procedures for prosthetic leg attachment.
Capacity Building
MIST builds capacity by encouraging self-sufficiency through education and training in all projects it undertakes.
Limb reconstruction units have been established in Gaza and Pakistan.
Collaboration
MIST collaborates with governments and non-governmental organisations worldwide to provide optimal assistance to victims of disasters.
